In 1985-86, Amit came to stay at Dr. Joshi Wada 348, Yadogopal Peth. At that time he would be nine or ten years old. At the back of the Wada, Phadnis Wada was a very ancient building and had a playground next to it. Samarth Sai Shakha used to fill on that ground. Because of the Late Raja Walimbe, Amit and his younger brother used to go to the Shakha regularly. For a few years, Amit was going to the Shakha, but after that, Amit started going to Shivaji Uday Mandal and Gandhi Krida Mandal to play kabaddi volleyball as well.
After this, in the year 2000, Amit Kulkarni again became active in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and Sanchal started regularly participating in all the celebrations.
Amit Kulkarni enjoyed the company of many good full-time activists, campaigners, and ideological stalwarts who led a dedicated life for the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. In May 2004, Amit successfully participated in the Primary Shiksha class held at Kabanur in Ichalkaranji.
This organization brought many positive changes in the life of Amit Kulkarni and shaped his personality and the sustainable and value-added thinking of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is the reason what Amit Kulkarni is today.
Perhaps, Amit Kulkarni would have remained active in social work to some extent, but the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was the inspiration behind the profound and sustainable work he has done today in the field of education, in his periphery.
