In 2001, Amit Kulkarni was elected as a corporator in Satara Municipal Council and decided to do organizational work. His father Hon. Mr. Ashokrao as Nanasaheb Kulkarni’s long cherished dream was to build a Sainik school standard school in Satara. With Amit Kulkarni’s neighbor, Retired Captain Indian Army Mr. Govind Phadke and Amit planned and organized the Muhurtamed of Hindavi Public School on Ram Navami 2003.
Hindavi Public School was opened on 16th June 2003 with 33 children and four staff members, mirroring the three blocks of Amit’s existing apartment in Shukrawar Peth, Satara, into six classes. Amit Kulkarni’s mother Hon. Mrs. Ashwini Kulkarni provided funds through personal loans from the bank she was working in and utilized them for the construction of the school.
In that year, four classes Nursery, KG, 1st and 6th were started by Mr. Govind Phadke, Mr. Mangesh Mundravale, and Mrs. Maya Mane was the founding teacher of the school and Rekha Agnani and Nanda Rajput were the non-teaching staff.
Of these, Mrs. Maya Mane is working in Hindavi Public School as the eldest and leading member of the family, Hindavi family is proud of that.
Many of the associates are working in various positions of prestige, taking opportunities elsewhere, but even today they are an integral part of the Srinidhi family.
After that, From the year 2004 to 2016, Hindavi Public School continued to function on lease at Late. Madhavrao Dhumalguruji’s ‘Maharashtra High School’ with twelve academic years in Guruwar Peth. Late. Sudhir Rao Dhumal is the successor of Dhumal Guruji..! Late Sudhirkaka cultivated a bond with Hindavi Public School with the desire to like his own school. He offered his own building to the school till Hindavi Public School was enabled without any difficulty. Hindavi Public School Will always be in debt to Late. Sudhir Dhumal.
Amit Kulkarni served as the Principal of Hindavi Public School from 2009 to 2022. Only management remained his main function. Mr. Mangesh Mundravale as the Vice Principal, Mrs. Maya Mane as Head Pre-Primary and Primary Section, and Mrs. Rameshwari Yadav Head Secondary Section was carrying out such responsibilities.
A retired model teacher of New English School Mr. S. T. Pawar Sir worked as an administrator at Hindavi Public School for about five years. He tried to implement the positive aspects of discipline in Hindavi Public School.
Mrs. Ramani Kulkarni worked in various roles from 2006 to 2018 from ‘Teacher to Administrator’. Having trained himself in the abacus, he taught the abacus to Hindavians. Contributed a lot in the establishment and successful progress of Hindavi Public School.
On 16th June 2016, Hindavi Public School shifted to its own magnificent building with modern technology, perfect for educational needs.
This new building was inaugurated by Amit Kulkarni’s parents Mr. Nana and Mrs. Nani’s auspicious hands. Amit felt satisfied in the eyes of the parents who have contributed a lot in their overall formation and on the basis of whose traditions they have tried to make the political journey till now in a sustainable way.
To bless Amit Kulkarni on this occasion, members of the royal family Rajmata Srimanta Chhatrapati Kalpanaraje Bhosle, Member of Parliament Srimanta Chhatrapati Udayanraje Bhosle, Srimanta Chhatrapati Shivajiraje Bhosle, Srimanta Chhatrapati Mrs. Chandralekharaj Bhosle was present.
