Since 2004 was the year of assembly elections and Shrimant Chhatrapati Udayanraje Bhosale was the official candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party, many senior leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party at the national level and in the state used to come to Satara for public meetings. Since social media was not as effective at that time as it is today, public meetings were the most effective means of propaganda. Amit Kulkarni considers himself very fortunate that during this period the very influential leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Late. Mr. Pramodji Mahajan, Late. Mr. Gopinathji Munde, Hon. In 2002, the candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party for Pune Division Graduate Constituency Amit Kulkarni carried out the responsibility of Satara district election chief for the election of Hon. Chandrakantdada Patil exerted his best efforts with all the cooperation to give him a vote share from Satara District. In the wake of Hon. Prakashji’s defeat, an all-inclusive personality like Chandrakant Dada as a candidate created excitement among the members and the Bharatiya Janata Party celebrated its defeat in the previous election with a victory festivity. Chandrakant Dada won with a huge majority.

In the year 2014, he took responsibility as a co-convenor in Pune Division Graduate Constituency. Efforts were made for the success of Hon. Chandrakant Dada. Hon. Chandrakant Dada was elected to the Legislative Council for the second time, due to Chandrakant Dada’s established rapport with activists from all walks of life.

Along with this success of the Legislative Council, the political era of the Bharatiya Janata Party started in Maharashtra. Bharatiya Janata Party came to power in Maharashtra. Hon. Devendraji became the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Hon. Chandrakant Dada got the highest position in the cabinet.

Many important responsibilities are fulfilled by Hon. Chandrakant Dada was elected as the ‘State President’ of the Bharatiya Janata Party by the top leadership and Amit Kulkarni was appointed as the Bharatiya Janata Party State President under Dada’s leadership. The responsibility of the executive member was obtained.
